Bournemouth Hotels. Over 100 years ago the Gervis Court was a typical hotel in Bournemouth, family run hotel/ boarding house originally called 'Leicester House'. On Sept 7th 1895 Lady Harriet Ponsonby and her maid plus Mrs General Faber and Mrs Morry were in residence. We have been established for a long time!
When Lady Ponsonby came there would have been only an odd carriage here and there, now you can park here at the hotel, an easy walk to the town without parking problems. Close to the beach, pier and shops, bars and restaurants; the seafront, Bournemouth Pier, the town centre and Bournemouth International Centre are quite literally only a short walk away.
We pride ourselves on our well-maintained and presented gardens. We are one of the fine hotels in Bournemouth. The Gervis Court is a typical Bournemouth hotel. It is also a Victorian home of great character, set in its own grounds. We have ample free forecourt parking and nestles amongst pine trees, only two minutes from the cliff top.

We are in the centre of Bournemouth. Literally yards from everything. Close to airport and main road links.
As you approach Bournemouth from the A338 turn left at Asda and the train station (signposted for town centre east).
This will lead you to a roundabout where you can turn right (3rd exit) onto Holdenhurst Road.
After approx. 250 metres you will come to the Lansdowne Roundabout, where you want to take the 2nd exit (between the Roundhouse and Bournemouth College).
In the small roundabout ahead, please turn right in to Gervis Road. You will find the hotel on the right hand side.
Also convenient for the Poole to Cherbourg (4 miles) and Portsmouth to Le Havre ferry crossings. The coach station is only half a mile away. Nearest motorway or main road, A338.

"Asked for access with not steps as I was travelling with my elderly mother who cannot get up and downstairs easily, was told elderly people manage the stairs well. On arrival we had a stone stairway to climb (not too bad) but had another staircase to contend with when we went down for breakfast, this was not so easy and my mother found it very difficult, so will not be staying at this hotel in future with my mother. Food OK, cleanliness acceptable, room needs updating."
